This issue proposes a meeting place for different areas of knowledge which, from their own methodologies and objects of study, contribute to the understanding of a present characterized by rapid changes in social, educational, technological, environmental, and productive spheres. The notion of confluence highlights the value of dialogue between disciplines as a way to interpret complex phenomena and construct more comprehensive responses to contemporary challenges. This edition features research that examines current issues from analytical, applied, and critical perspectives, promoting the articulation of knowledge and experiences. The issue seeks to highlight the relevance of scientific research as a driver of reflection, innovation, and transformation, strengthening academic production oriented toward sustainable development and the improvement of local and global contexts.
